HELLO!
I'm Maria Stefanidi
Well, we need to go back in time... a little bit... but before I do, let me share a bit about myself. I have always had a deep love for reading, an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and the unwavering belief that there is nothing I cannot learn. During my university years, I was known for being an excellent and organized student who enjoyed building connections with my classmates.
One of the most pivotal moments of my academic career came when a professor failed me for the first time ever. I was completely shocked and couldn't believe it was happening. I even considered transferring to another university in London. However, after revising my paper and resubmitting it, I not only received an 'A,' but also a note from my professor that deeply resonated with me: "You could have done it like this the first time." This moment revealed to me that my professor saw potential in me that I had failed to recognize in myself.

Years later, when I needed a recommendation letter, that same professor agreed to vouch for me. To my surprise, his letter brought me to tears, but they were tears of realization and gratitude, not despair. It was at that moment that I truly understood the power of emotions, self-belief, and resilience in the academic journey.
As a dissertation coach, my philosophy encompasses these elements—knowing it is not purely knowledge that creates success within academia, but rather it goes beyond mere knowledge; it involves having the right mindset, self-efficacy, and emotional intelligence. I believe in breaking down projects into manageable tasks, focusing intently, and planning meticulously. It is not just about organizing your time and energy; it is also about building confidence and managing emotions throughout your academic adventure.
